Keeping your pet up to date on vaccines is one way to help keep them healthy. Whether you have a cat or dog, it's important to know what to vaccinate for. 

Spaying or neutering your pet is one of the best things pet owners can do for their pet. These common surgeries are routine and don’t pose a serious threat to your pet. The benefits outweigh the risks, as the procedures can help dogs live longer and healthier lives while also reducing behavioral issues. In female dogs, spaying can help prevent serious health problems like mammary cancer and pyometra. Before this is considered, we ask that you schedule a wellness exam with us prior to surgery. 

According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 70% of adult cats and 80% of adult dogs show symptoms of oral disease. Your pet’s oral health is tied to its overall health, including liver, kidneys, and heart health. In addition to dental exams during annual and semi-annual checkups, we recommend pets over the age of 5 get a yearly cleaning.

We offer in house x-rays, with a mobile dental unit and a stationary radiograph machine. 

Pet having issues with diarrhea? Get them checked for intestinal parasites. 

Parvo Virus is very contagious and spreads through contact with infected pet or feces. If your pet is showing any symptoms of Parvovirus Infection, we recommend you get them tested as soon as possible.

Heartworms are parasites that infect dogs and live in their heart and lungs. They are transmitted through mosquitos and can cause real problems for our canines. We recommend a monthly heartworm preventative and a yearly heartworm test.
